Description:
This course provides students the opportunity to learn various advanced welding applications, which include Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Students will also learn a technical understanding of plasma and plasma cutting operations including Numerical Control (NC) programming. This course will also provide students with technical understanding of tacking and welding techniques for completing projects to reflect industry standards. Prerequisites: WELD 154, MFGT 123. Corequisite: WELD 201. (F)
