A study of various cultural and minority groups in America, such as Native Americans, Jewish Americans, Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Women, and Americans with Disabilities. This course will explore the rich ethnic heritage and diversity in these cultures, as well as, immigration practices, prejudices, conflicts, and accommodations. F, S Prerequisite: Introduction to Sociology (SOCI 1113) with a "C" or better.
