COREQUISITE: ILT 202. This course applications of electronics in the industry with a major emphasis on microprocessors as applied to data acquisition and machine control. Topics include A/D and D/A conversion, signal conditioning, sensors, and transducers, control devices, stepper motors, and microprocessor interfacing. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to describe the operation of various sensors, signal conditioning, A/D and D/A conversion, and control devices, as well as, perform necessary calculations.
