Designed to assist freshman students in the development of skills and attitudes necessary for academic success and productive college life. Students who have an academic deficiency in three or more assessment areas are required to complete this course in their initial college semester. Students who have an academic deficiency in one or two assessment areas, as well as students enrolled in General Studies, are strongly encouraged to complete this course, but only during their initial year of study. All other students may enroll in this course but only during their initial year of study. This course fulfills the requirement for Career Opportunities 1011.
