The primary objective of the statistics course is to familiarize students with the terminology, techniques, and approaches in statistical analysis. Topics to be covered in the course may include the meaning of statistics, scientific decision making, frequency distributions, probabil- ity, sampling, hypothesis testing, and regression/correlation analysis.
