This course is a study of the general principles in farm accounting and financial analysis. Students will complete a case accounting problem and complete all necessary analyses for understanding financial statements. Students will be exposed to the different credit agencies available and what they have to offer for beginning farmers. They will learn what is required of them to obtain credit. Communication between lender and the farmer is also discussed. Students will solve different types of loan problems. Prerequisite: AGRI110.
