This course covers welding shop and personal safety. Students will be introduced to proper methods and techniques of operating shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), oxy-acetylene cutting, and brazing, along with Plasma cutting equipment, which will be helpful in the operation and maintenance of farm equipment.
