Topics include a survey of common rocks and minerals, and an investigation of the geologic forces at work in our physical environment, including erosion, volcanoes, earthquakes and flooding. The class also investigates the geologic history of the earth and geological structure as illustrated in topographical mapping. Prerequisites: None
