Career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization are offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. The course provides on-the-job-training in the Child Development Associate (CDA) functional areas with emphasis on safe, healthy, learning environment, self, social, and guidance, and working with children with special needs. Prerequisites: Concurrent registration in CHED 063 and a minimum of 20 hour per week employment in an approved child care program.
