Students will explore the styles and techniques of commercial illustration (books and magazines, music CDs, posters, packaging, etc.) and inking with basic illustration skills such as proportion, perspectives, and composition. (Pastel, watercolor, acrylic, etc. will also be used.) Students will learn both conventional hand rendered and computer illustration techniques. Prerequisites: ART 2363 Graphic Design and either ART 2 23 Intro ToWatercolor or ART 2 03 Intro to Painting
