This class begins with the study of aircraft instrument systems, position and warning systems. The student will learn basic aircraft instruments theory, operation, installation and trouble-shooting. Then, we move into communication and Navigation (avionics), where the student will study fundamentals of avionics, their function and the appropriate terminology, functions of communications equipment and navigation equipment. There will be approximately 30 lecture contact hours and 8 shop/lab hours. Prerequisites: AVTG 00 or AVTG 0 9.
