Students come to understand the impact of the microcomputer on the publishing industry. Students will use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop (scanning and file touch up), and a variety of peripherals including color scanners, color printers, and imagesetters. Projects enable students to explore various capabilities and reinforce concepts learned in lecture and demonstrations. (3 hrs lec)
