Students learn the theoretical framework for care of the adult client with unmet needs related to chronic illness. The nursing process is used in the planning of care. The focus is on the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and cultural needs of the client. Students continually improve their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and act collaboratively. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the first semester of the Nursing Program. Corequisites: NRST 1630 and NRST 1720.(2.5 lec, 1 hr lab)
