5 high school credit Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer Provides instruction in the areas of parent education and life skills targeted to the issues of teen parents and high school students. This course will assist students in developing positive parenting skills, understanding child development, applying appropriate practices for various developmental stages, building self-esteem, improving personal communication skills and developing survival skills. May be repeated up to 2 credits.
