1 credit, Winter This course is designed to help participants understand the benefits of taking various field trips - especially those that build on young children's interests and help contribute to their understanding of the world. Participants will explore the possibilities for taking various field trips within the Portland metropolitan area. They will begin to develop field trip protocols and discuss common field trip issues. Included in the discussion of field trips will be the always-available neighborhood walks.
