Autism in Literature would be an introductory level literature class. Students would read a variety of genres, including non-fiction, autobiography, biography, and fiction, where either the author or a central character is known to be autistic. Emphasis will be on discussing the works, analyzing meanings, researching related topics, making connections between literature and life, and learning about how autism has influenced the literary tradition.
