This course is a survey of mathematical concepts and techniques for non-science majors. Students will be expected to use systematic reasoning to solve a variety of problems. Study topics may include history of mathematics, mathematics of voting, number systems, Euler circuits, geometry, symmetry, Fibonacci numbers, golden ratio, probability and statistics. Prerequisite: MTH 95 or appropriate score on the COMPASS mathematics placement tests. SPRING
