(3 credits) Fundamental characteristics and operation of semiconductor materials and on junction devices including diodes, bipolar and FET transistors and thyristors. Applications including linear power supplies, small-signal amplifiers, power amplifiers, operational amplifier, frequency response, stability, compensation, feedback, oscillators, filters, regulators, troubleshooting and construction techniques.
