(3 Credits) Th is course is designed to introduce the modern day reader to the wide range of women Bible characters of long ago. Th e Bible is fi lled with strong women whose lives and voices have much in common with modern day women. Surprisingly, the gamut of the biblical record runs from the revered Virgin Mary to the beguiled Jezebel. Even though some of the women noted remain unnamed, their lives can still be examined in the context of their exploits, accomplishments, and commitments.
