Is an introductory course designed for science, engineering, and allied health majors. In this course, students will gain an understanding of basic properties, behaviors, fundamental laws, and theories in chemistry. Major topics that will be covered include chemical equations and kinetics, reactivity, chemical bonding and interaction, and qualitative analysis. Students will be able to apply concepts from the textbook and classroom in problems, quizzes, and tests. Laboratory time will be used to apply classroom concepts to hands-on experiments. Prerequisite: Chemistry I.
