(9 Credits) Prerequisites: EMT Basic and Intermediate Licenses and EMS 115 Concurrent enrollment: EMS 201L Th is course reinforces skills and knowledge learned in the EMT-Basic and EMT-Intermediate courses. Students enrolled in EMTParamedic I will examine issues in the pre-hospital environment, gain understanding and advanced treatment modalities of respiratory conditions, treatment of shock, and administration of pharmacological treatments routinely used by Paramedics in the fi eld.
