(3 Credits) An advanced field-oriented course emphasizing topographic mapping and plat production techniques. Topics include traverses, area determination, trigonometric leveling, topographic surveys, electronic data collection with SDR 33 and TDS HP48 data collectors, and map production using AutoCad Land Development Desktop or Carlson SurvCADD. Use of the HP48 with TDS software is used extensively. (Prerequisite: SUR111; Corequisite: SUR213)
