(3 Credits) This course is a continuation of Computer Networking II, covering IPX protocol routing for Novell, LAN design implementing bridges, routers, and switches. Fast Ethernet, Spanning Tree Protocol and Virtual LANs. WAN services of LAPB, Frame Relay, ISDN, PPP, HDLC and DDR will also be covered. The course is taught using the Cisco Systems Networking Academy Curriculum: Cisco Semesters 3 and 4. (Prerequisite: CMT219)
