Advanced page layout using Quark Xpress and InDesign is covered in a series of production projects. Advanced projects include the layout of two-page and four-page newsletters, large format ad layout and other page layout techniques. Student design projects and a simulated production environment using industry standards and procedures. Emphasis is placed on design and production of multi-color layout. (formerly Advanced Quark Production) Prerequisite: VIC 121 , VIC 202 Lecture: 2 hours Laboratory: 4 hours (course fee required)
