Students will be introduced to audio production and post-production techniques. Digital audio formats, compression techniques, hardware and storage systems will be covered. Through the use of specialized hardware and software, students will become familiar with the production process as it relates to the creation of audio effects for Web, CD-ROM and other methods of delivery. Laboratory: 6 hours (course fee required)
