Adobe Illustrator is introduced through a series of illustration-based projects. Emphasis is placed on the application of the tools used for the creativity and production of graphic images consisting of strokes, fills, blends, gradients and filters. Color considerations for illustration specifications, file formats and Macintosh system requirements are discussed. Recommended for students interested in basic illustration techniques using professional software. It is recommended that students taking this course have MAC or PC experience. Lecture: 2 hours Laboratory: 4 hours (course fee required)
