Fundamental concepts of radiopharmaceutical design, preparation and localization for materials utilized in pediatric scanning, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, lymphoscintigraphy, infection/ tumor imaging and therapy procedures are covered. Presentation of issues in various work settings, management of departments, operation of clinic and design of radiopharmacy are presented. Board exam review will be provided. Students will present final project utilizing all skills developed throughout nuclear medicine program. (formerly Nuclear Pharmacy III) Prerequisite: NUM 262 ; concurrent enrollment with NUM 280 , NUM 281 Lecture: 2 hours
