Methods of teaching health, safety and nutrition to young children are covered. Techniques of menu planning, and program considerations of nutrition, health, hygiene and safety standards for the young child in group care are implemented. Developmentally appropriate practices and licensing standards are emphasized. Prerequisite: ECE 110 , ECE 111 Lecture: 2 hours Laboratory: 2 hours IAI: ECE 902 (course fee required)
