An introductory general astronomy course for non-science majors. The material presented in this course will include the following: planetary motion, origin of the solar system, a study of the planets and their moons, the sun, the nature of stars and their evolution, galaxies, and the origin of the universe. Students with prior in AST 101 or AST 102 will not receive for AST 100 . Lecture: 3 hours Laboratory: 2 hours IAI: P1 906L (course fee required)
