This course is provided for the study of "special topics" related to the criminaljustice system, including law enforcement issues, judicial concerns and decisions, and correctional ideologies. Delivery of subject matter will include, but not limited to, readings, discussion groups, guided research and field trips. Course may be repeated if topics are different. However, only three credits may be applied toward graduation requirements. Topics are selected on a basis of timeliness and interest. Lecture: 0.5-4 hours Laboratory: 0.5-8 hours
