An introduction to drawing the human figure using a variety of media. Drawings are derived from direct observation emphasizing descriptive drawing techniques of the human figure. Drawing activities should include full figure, features and anatomical differentiation encompassing individual physiognomy. Application of basic drawing techniques in rendering the human figure is covered. Course is offered in combination with ART 126 , which is similar in content and lab. Students will be working independently during a portion of the course. Prerequisite: ART 118 Laboratory: 6 hours IAI: ART 906 (course fee required)
