((3 credits) Prerequisites: ENG 03 and ENG 05 if required by individual student's placement. Teaches principles of program planning in the recreation setting. Analyzes participants' needs and demands, as well as social, physical, and psychological characteristics. Explains how to organize and lead programs. Includes a leadership practicum. Lecture 2 hours + lab 3 hours, total 5 hours per week.
