Provides instruction in electrocardiography, including preparation of a patient, proper set-up and operation of equipment, and mounting of electrocardiogram tracings. The student will learn to count heart rate and recognize the characteristics of normal rhythm and basic arrhythmias. Lecture: 0.5 hour Laboratory: 1 hour (course fee required)
