(4 credits) Students are required to have a graphing calculator for this course. The TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus is recommended. Prerequisites: ENG 05 if required by individual student's placement; a placement recommendation for MTH 166 and three years of high school mathematics including Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry or equivalent (MTH 03, MTH 04). Presents college algebra, analytic geometry, trigonometry, and algebraic exponential, and logarithmic functions. Lecture 4 hours per week.
