Allowable Times for Credit: 1.00 Maximum Credits Allowed: ACH: 48.00-52.80 Lab: 0.00- Credits: 3.00- Contact Hrs: 3.00- Lecture: 3.00- Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in SOWK 100, SOWK 120. This is a course in which the student, with assistance from the Coorindator of Work-Based Learning, is placed in a human service agency to observe the social service roles, assist in service delivery under close supervision and explore career interests and aptitude. The student will be placed in the site for 144 hours (48 hours/credit hour) and will be supervised and evaluated under the direction of a college staff member. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
