Allowable Times for Credit: 1.00 Maximum Credits Allowed: ACH: 67.20-72.00 Lab: 2.00- Credits: 3.00- Contact Hrs: 4.00- Lecture: 2.00- Computer competency or minimum grade of C in ISYS 110 and READ 100 or satisfactory test score; ISYS 115 recommended. Prerequisite: Offers an introduction to the relational data base model using common DBMS business software. Relational database design theory, including the normalizing process, will be emphasized. Data definition, entry, updating, retrieval, reporting, and manipulation will be covered. The student will develop a project for a business environment.
