Allowable Times for Credit: 1.00 Maximum Credits Allowed: ACH: 110.40-132.00 Lab: 2.00- Credits: 5.00- Contact Hrs: 6.00- Lecture: 4.00- Prerequisite: Satisfactory test scores or TABE test; HEED 101 preferred. Provides training to meet today's health care facilities' phlebotomy requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, the individual will be eligible to take the national certification exam. A separate application is required for this course and acceptance into the program is by interview process. NOTE: Students must also successfully complete clinical experience (4 credits) to be eligible for the certification exam. [Semesters Offered: Winter, Spring]
