Allowable Times for Credit: 1.00 Maximum Credits Allowed: ACH: 68.40-72.80 Lab: 0.00- Credits: 2.00- Contact Hrs: 4.00- Lecture: 4.00- English as a Second Language Assessment Test, Writing Sample, and Oral Interview or a minimum grade of C in ESL 151R Reading. Prerequisite: Prepares non-native speakers of English for traditional academic classes. Students will practice and monitor their speaking, reading, writing, listening, and study skills (as introduced in earlier levels of ESL) so that they will be able to adjust to various academic situations with increasing levels of competency.
