Allowable Times for Credit: 1.00 Maximum Credits Allowed: ACH: 67.20-72.00 Lab: 2.00- Credits: 3.00- Contact Hrs: 4.00- Lecture: 2.00- Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ART 213. Covers a brief history of graphic design, basic graphic design principles, terminology and procedures. The focus is on two-dimensional problem solving in the design of logos and promotional graphics. The student will work from the initial problem through design concept to finished presentation. Graphics applications introduced in the previous courses are used along with the digital imaging application, Adobe Photoshop. This course is required for the Graphic Design Technology AAS program.
