Second course in a two-semester sequence in elementary organic chemistry. Investigates the structure, nomenclature, and properties (physical, chemical, spectral, and stereochemical) of aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers, carboxylic acids and derivatives, aldehydes and ketones, amines, heterocyclic compounds, and selected biochemical compounds.
