Introduces human anatomy and physiology primarily to those planning to pursue an AAS degree in nursing. Covers basic chemical concepts, cellular physiology, as well as the anatomy and physiology of human organ systems. Lecture 4 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 7 hours per week. Algebra I, Biology 100, Developmental Chemistry, Foundations of Biology and college reading and writing competence required. Course prerequisites: ENG 03, ENG 05, MTH 03, CHM 05, BIO 01.
