Provides an opportunity for participation in adult basic education and adult literacy settings. Emphasizes planning and implementation of appropriate activities and materials for adults. Students will receive 15 hours of literacy training in addition to 60 clock hours in the field. Prerequisite recommendation of advisor or instructor. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 4 hours. Total 5 hours per week. College reading competence required.
