Examines the legal guidelines as to use of deadly force, safety in handling of weaponry, and weapon care and cleaning; marksmanship instruction under standard range conditions. Prerequisite permission of instructor. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
