3(3-0) F, S Honors eligible course. Principles of public speaking. Preparation and delivery of speeches. Emphasis on informing and persuading audiences. The Honors component would be a project prepared by the student that would result in a 30 to 60 minute program to educate the audience on a topic approved by the instructor. The program would be presented to a live audience or over community cable.
