3(3-0)S A required Honors Program core course. To enroll, students must be admitted into the Honors Program. This course provides the opportunity for students to continue a study of the world's "great ideas," with primary focus on how humankind has attempted to make or discern meaning out of existence. Central components of the course will engage students through the Socratic method of learning and analysis, and group activity. This is a reading, writing and discussion intensive course. A "B" grade or higher must be earned in order for the Honors Program student to receive the Honors "H" designation on his/her transcript.
