4(4-0)F Emphasis on fundamental and theoretical concepts of chemistry. Recommended for all science majors, chemistry majors and minors, and most pre-professional students. Students not meeting prerequisite must have permission by department to enroll. A grade of C or better is required in this course in order to take CHM 170 or CHM 200. This course may not be taken pass/not pass.
