3(2-2) F,S. EDU 150 may be taken concurrently. An overview of elementary school organization, management techniques, and personalized teaching styles for use with children including those from various cultural backgrounds and exceptional children who are mainstreamed in regular classrooms. Students will participate in a 30 clock hour field experience at area elementary schools. A grade of "C" or better is required in this course to continue in the MSU Elementary Education Program. This course may not be taken Pass/Not Pass.
