1 credit. 1.5 hours. (Lecture 0.5 hour. Laboratory 1 hour.) Scuba Diving is a course that develops the basic knowledge and skills needed to safely enjoy recreational diving. Successful completion of this course will prepare the student for Open Water Certification Training dives through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) or the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI).
