The study of operations with polynomials, operations with rational expressions, properties of exponents, solution of linear equations and inequalities with applications, solution of absolute value equations and inequalities, solution of quadratic equations with applications, solution of linear systems of equations with applications, rational exponents and radicals, introduction to functions and graphs, and graphing linear equations in two variables.
