3 credits. 4 hours. (Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours.) Prerequisites: MATE 210, 215 and MATH 104. This course is designed to cover advanced CNC programming techniques taking the student beyond standard code practices. Pre-set tooling and parametric (macro) programming with probing examples are covered. CADCAM will be used to produce CNC lathe and mill projects.
